Michael began his career as a Gemologist, graduating from the prestigious Gemological Institute of America, in residence, 1982, in Santa Monica, CA. Understanding global trade, economics, politics, commodities, currencies, religions, and cultures as an appraiser and wholesaler of diamonds and precious gemstones was an ideal bridge to the world of investments where his career began with International Assets Advisory (IAAC), LLC in 1986 in Winter Park, FL. IAAC specialized in global asset allocation trading 24/7 in equities, bonds, and bringing public individual country Investment Trusts.
Extensively traveling the developed and developing markets around the world deepened Michael’s experience in global asset allocation, which historically reduces risk. With over 25 years of experience as a Financial Advisor, he spent most of his career with Wall Street’s largest investment banking brokerage firms, including Merrill Lynch and Wells Fargo Advisors, before joining Moors & Cabot in 2019.
His favorite time spent is with his 7- and 10-year-old boys, Sean and Micah. They enjoy triathlons, the beach, camping, fishing, water sports, Legos on a rainy day, and watching sunsets over the Clermont chain of lakes where they reside.
