For over two decades Jim Watson has been providing a Private Wealth platform along with exceptional service to entrepreneurs, corporate officers, corporations, and charitable organizations.

After graduating from Arizona State University as a student athlete Jim started his career at Merrill Lynch and developed his practice emphasizing personalized portfolio management, wealth preservation, hedging and monetization of concentrated stock positions, liability management, and estate planning.

Similar to Moors & Cabot, Jim has focused on working with a finite number of clients and prides himself on the personal, detailed, and comprehensive service that all of his clients deserve.  By joining Moors & Cabot, Jim has the ability of accessing many investments within a truly open architecture platform, along with numerous merger and acquisition, leverage, and various lending resources.  Although the capacity of our clearing firm, First Clearing1  are readily available, the latitude of finding the best resource for our clients is always at the forefront.

Jim has been involved in numerous philanthropic endeavors for over 20 years including the United Way Campaign Cabinet, Pinnacle Peak Presbyterian Church, Sun Devil Athletics, ASU College of Business, Boys & Girls Clubs of Scottsdale, Sun Angel Foundation, and the Fiesta Bowl.  Jim and his wife, Susan, live in Scottsdale with their three children, Savannah, Tyler, and Sierra where they are constantly involved in coaching, school PTA’s, and their church.

Jim is accepting selective new relationships and is always available to discuss situations with any friend, peer, or referral at 480-292-9235.
