About
Betty

Betty Jean joined Moors & Cabot in our new Glendale, AZ location in January of 2018. Betty Jean has been in the industry for over 30 years, starting out as a registered sales assistant at Shearson Lehman Brothers. She became a Financial Advisor while working at Morgan Stanley before moving to Merrill Lynch and, most recently, Ameriprise Financial. Although she has clients in other cities throughout the country, she has spent her entire career working exclusively in the Sun City area and focuses on Retirement and Estate Planning and enjoys working with retirees and their families.

Betty Jean is originally from Brownsville, Pennsylvania, a tiny little town southwest of Pittsburgh. Her family relocated to Arizona in 1987. She is the proud parent of two grown children, Shawn and Kelly, who both live in the Phoenix area and three grandchildren: Noah (her daughter Kelly’s son) and Lily and Henry (her son Shawn’s children). Betty Jean is very involved with The Boy Scouts of America Grand Canyon Council and was named Scouter of the year in 2016. She is very proud of her grandson Noah’s recent accomplishment on becoming an” Eagle Scout” this past December.

Her other interests include: reading, camping, hiking, biking, spending time with her grandchildren, and  traveling to the “Beach”. She is a member of West Valley Bible Church in Surprise, AZ. Betty Jean resides in Peoria, AZ with her daughter Kelly, her grandson, Noah, and their little dog, Lucy. Betty Jean is very excited to begin the newest chapter of her career with Moors& Cabot.
