James Pillow joined Moors & Cabot as a Portfolio Manager in 2017 and has been in the financial services business for over 20 years. Prior to joining the independent Moors & Cabot family, Mr. Pillow served as a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager for one of the country’s largest private banks. During his tenure, his responsibilities included providing comprehensive strategic and tactical asset-allocation, economic and market updates, and investment-management solutions for high-net-worth individuals, families, and philanthropic entities. He served on the firm’s Advisory Board and Fixed-Income Steering Committee and was in their Wealth & Investment Management’s Chairman’s Council. With his background, his market and economic insights are often sought after by the media. Mr. Pillow’s research has been quoted in Business Week, Global Mail, Bloomberg, and Investment News.
